1. Beypore

This is a coastal town situated in Kozhikode district & the whole town is surrounded by green landscapes and blue water bodies. In Beypore town there is a hand weaving institute the teaches the traditional art of weaving. Beypore is stuffed with shopping markets, restaurants, sunset view spots and institutes. 2. Kozhikode Beach

This beach is one of the most visited places in Kozhikode and is an ideal spot for spending time with your family. In 1934 Mahatma Gandhi visited the place and the road near the beach is named Gandhi road. Most of the tourists visit here for sunset view and shopping near Kozhikode beach. At the beach, you can participate in water sport activities like swimming, scuba diving, water skiing, and paragliding.

3. Krishna Menon Museum

4. Calicut Planetarium 

This was established in 1997 and conducts around 1200 shows every year. The shows take the travelers to the mysterious universe. You must visit the planetarium to enjoy the stars gazing. The entry charges vary with shows type.

5. Thali Temple

The temple is near Mananchira square and is one of the oldest temples in Calicut. Thali temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, inside the temple there is a Shivalinga that is about 2 feet tall and is built with Kerala style architecture. The fact about the temple is that every day five different religious ceremonies are performed.

6. Mananchira Square

It was opened in 1994 and inside the square, there is a man-made freshwater pond. Earlier the pond was used as a bathing pool by the ruler. Today the place is famous for its open theatre and musical fountains. Inside the Manachira square, there is an artificial hill and is used by people for a picnic. The theatre that is within the Manachira square shows the lives of kings and the history of palaces.

7. Waterfalls in Kozhikode

There are several waterfalls in Kozhikode that are just the perfect spot for picnic and swimming. Do not forget to visit these waterfalls for a perfect tour.

Thusharagiri waterfall is in a tribal village and here you can do many things like swimming, trekking, and rock climbing. 

Kozhippara Fall is another waterfall that is best known for trekking sites. The water here falls from a height and forms a pool on the base which is just perfect for swimming. 

Villari falls situated in rocky terrain and the water body is treated to the eye. Many animals come to this waterfall to drink water.

8. Pazhassi Raja Museum and Art Gallery
