Idukki is a famous Hill Station in Kerala and offers many activities for travelers like explore wildlife sanctuaries, stay in beautiful bungalows and trek in forests. It is famous among nature lovers and the tourism industry. At Idukki, various activities are organized for tourists so they can enjoy their holidays. 1. Paragliding in Idukki

This activity is once in a lifetime experience that everyone should have. Paragliding is one of the most selected adventure activities among tourists. This is organized in Vagamon that is a place in Idukki, the whole place is surrounded by majestic waterfalls and dense forests. You can fly in for around 20 minutes and have a birds-eye view of the place.   

Tips: – Do not go for the activity after meals. 

            If you have a medical condition you must have actor’s advice. 

            If you are below 18 then you must have permission from parents.

2. Camping in Idukki

Idukki is a place of many hill stations that makes the place perfect for camping. One such hill is the ba hills that are surrounded by tea gardens and green valleys. There are different packages available at different prices. The package will include food, tents, games for entertainment and an instructor will guide throughout the journey. One of the best things about camping is a fire with some music and games to play with friends. The best place for camping is Gavi because to reach the place you need to trek by bicycle.

3. Famous viewpoints in Idukki

Being a place of hills there are many spots that offer an amazing view of the beautiful atmosphere. To have an amazing view of surrounding you need to trek to the top of hills. While trekking to the top of the hill to enjoy the views you may encounter with animals and tea plantations. The temperature at these hills stays moderately cold throughout the year. Do not forget to carry your camera for photography in the lap of nature.
