1. Lake Pichola
Lake Pichola is an artificial lake, this lake is the oldest and the largest lake in the city. This place has heritage buildings, bathing ghats and visits the Lake Pichola is incomplete without a boat ride. This lake offers many picturesque scenes and sunset views are stunning. This place is ideal for couples as they can stroll along the pathways surrounding the lake and can enjoy the sunset too.

2. Vintage Car Museum
Udaipur is not only known for forts, castles, and lakes but the vintage car museum makes an interesting diversion. This museum has many vintage cars that were used by the Mewar dynasty of Udaipur. Here you will get to see vintage Rolls Royce, Mercedes models, all these cars were custom made and owned by the royals.
In 1934 Rolls Royce Phantom is displayed here in the museum which was used in the famous James Bond movie. There are around 20 antique pieces that are a treasure for motor lovers.

3. Bagore ki haveli
It was built in the 18th century on the waterfront of Lake Pichola. This place was converted into a museum having the royal touch to the building, and also presents the culture of Mewar. This museum has things used by Rajputs such as jewelry, hand fans, copper vessels, etc. This haveli has over 100 rooms and its unique style of architecture looks fantastic. The highlight of the haveli is the popular “Dharohar Dance Show” and is held every evening and it showcases the culture and folk tradition of Rajasthan.

4. Fatah Sagar Lake
Fatah Sagar Lake is a major tourist place in Udaipur, surrounded by Aravalli hills. This place is the second largest artificial lake in the city and known for its scenic beauty. One can witness the circumference of the Fatah Sagar lake by driving on the Moti-Magri road. You can also try hand boating and the number of water sports that are available for tourists.

5. Eklingji Temple
This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva of the Hindu religion and its brilliant architecture drives several tourists here every year. This temple is double-storied and looks magnificent. On the entrance of the temple, one can witness a beautiful silver image of Nandi and inside the temple, there are two other images of Nandi carved in black stone and brass. The Shivalinga garlanded by a silver snake is a major tourist attraction.

6. Moti Margi

7. Jagdish Temple
This is the largest temple in Udaipur and has beautiful carvings, numerous appealing statues. This place is an ideal place for worship and for seekers of solace and faith. The main shrine houses the striking four-armed statue of Lord Vishnu and most interesting about the lord Vishnu statue is carved out of a single piece of black stone.
Note = Don’t carry expensive objects in the temple and remember to remove shoes while at the shrine.

8. Jaisamand Lake
This Lake is the second-largest artificial lake in the country after Govind Ballabh Pant Sagar. This place is surrounded by the Jaisamand Wildlife Sanctuary which is home to rare animals and birds. There is a temple on the dam which has Shiva temple at the center and is proof that the people of Mewar were conscious of their worship rituals. The palace located on the hilltop, near the lake is opened and closed occasionally by the forest department.

9. Jag Mandir Palace
It is located on the island of Lake Pichola in Udaipur, this palace made of marble and yellow sandstone. Jag mandir palace was served as a hiding place for Shah Jahan and also became the inspiration for Shah Jahan to build the Taj Mahal.
This palace is also considered one of the symbols of friendship between the Mughals and Rajputs. The structure has a museum where the history the place has been reserved.

10. Mansapurna Karni Temple
This temple is located on top of the Machhala Magar hilltop and was built by Maharana Karan Singh. Ropeway line connects the plain and the temple at the peak of the hill, which makes it easier for the public to reach the holy shrine.
There is another route to the temple as well, the staircase leads to the temple but that route takes more than minutes and is quite taxing and tiring a process. If you visit during the evening you might catch a glimpse of a beautiful sunset from cable cars.

11. Kumbhalgarh Fort
