2. Auli Ropeway
Ropeway connects hill stations of Joshimath & Auli where people enjoy the 360 views of mountains during the Journey. This ropeway is the second highest and longest ropeway in India after the one in J&K. 4. Trishul Peak
It is having a height of 7120 m. The peak can be best viewed from Kausani or during the Roopkund Trek. Trishul peak is so-called because it presents not one but three Himalayan mountain peaks of western Kumaon. The peak rises to a level of 23,940 ft and is the prettiest sight in the Himalayan ranges. Most people come here for trekking, skiing events and competitions. It resembles lord Shiva’s famed trident. It forms the southwest corner of the ring of peaks enclosing the Nanda Devi Sanctuary.
